I haven't kept up with the latest at Nuforce but I understand that the prices on the "SE" models have sky rocketed. The "regular" Ref 9 amps are just amazing and I can't imagine getting much more in the "SE" models at twice the price.In any case, there have been several outstanding reviews of the Nuforce Ref 9's and one in particular really stands out in my mind. Chris Martens of The Absolute Sound reviewed the Ref 9's. From his writing and tone of the review, he was clearly excited and very pleased with them. In a later issue he did a luke warm review the UcD based CIA D200's. He also devoted a couple paragraphs in that issue to compare the D200's to the Ref 9's. It was plain as day that he prefered the Nuforce.
Nice gear and truly amazing Class D technology.
