My Quad QSP amp was exchanged yesterday and the replacement is far worse than the first one for the turn on & off thump,it was supposed to have been checked out by IAG the retailer agrees as he installed it himself and we are awaiting for developments from IAG. However in an earlier exchange of emails IAG agree there is a slight thump which they say is a characteristic of the design ???, On further listening I am getting a intermitant surge noise through speakers which is unacceptable and I have now rejected this unsatifactory Quad QSP amplifier.
