Anyone experiencing protection relay problems with this new amp. After pressing standby to on , I get a loud pop through speakers, when switching off directly from wall socket ,sound continues for 4/5 seconds unless first going back into standby even then there is still a slight residual shudder from speakers ? channel balance also suspect with Sheffield Labs test disc although voices are central more sound from right speaker. Balance not checked by HFN &RR in their April review as far as I can determine. However amplifier does sound very good, compact attractive case, powerful ,smooth & revealing musical sound a definate Best Buy , if problems are resolved, mine is being exchanged for a new one, will report again later. Why no Stereophile review ?.Incidently this problem does not exist with my Sony DA5400ES receiver, when switching on/off directly from wall socket all I hear is relay click, no Pop from Speakers.
