For that kind of money, it should be possible to design the components from the get-go to operate without fuses. In other words, the components could be designed to use special electronic fuses that would open the circuit automatically when the slightest current overflow was detected. I think that would be the best way to utilize that kind of additional money for protecting a component. What do you think, Kal?
