I agree. However in high end audio you'll find that resolution and efficiency are often found together, and often to a greater degree than with inefficient drivers. It has to do with the intention of the design. In a PA the main thing is to get the sound out and quality might be secondary. High end audio though is all about resolution- so if someone is going to make a loudspeaker that is higher efficiency, of course they'll want to make sure its resolving as well.
