Wow, just what I was thinking when I read the post.
Years back they were SO hyped by media and dealers that I tried and tried, even carted home a pair of the smaller ones with the little head on top, 501? Not a chance.
It's a testimony to the power of reviews, advertising and dealers that I felt that I just had to like them if they were given a proper chance even though I'd never once heard them sound good in any circumstance: shows, dealers and finally home.
To thine own ears be true...
