I don't think you can go wrong with the NAD and the Axiom m22ti's. I used that combo and was very satisfied. I really thought the combination was very detailed, the soundstage terrific, but most of all the result very musical and enjoyable. The NAD delivers a nice low end emphasis that works well with these speakers. I didn't feel the need for a subwoofer at all. I recently upgraded to a $1000 plus tube integrated and to be honest, I really didn't hear much of an improvement except on low volume levels. In fact base and mid base in the tube amp is not as good as the NAD. You will have to spend quite a bit to improve on the sound of these too. I have not heard the Panasonic unfortunately so I can't comment on how it compares directly.
