Have been considering purchasing a Panasonic digital receiver (probably a SA-XR50 or 70) for a bedroom system. Has anybody compared one of the Panny units to any of the other mid-fi digital receivers on the market such as the several Sony units or Harman Kardon's DPR1001 or DPR2001. I am wondering if they, like the Panasonic, are overachievers due to their digital amplification or if the Panny is a stand out among the crowd.
