Worth a shot to try the XR45 if you got $300US to spare.
If it does not work out, you can always flog it on audiogon, use it for HT only, use it at the cottage or put another $700 with the Bolder Cables mod.
If it works for you, awesome! Sell the rest of your gear and go on vacation.
Be sure to note all the various tweaks (power cable esp) and long burn in period (350 to 2000 hours).
Unfortunately, I am one of the ones that could not get the XR45 to sound better than my other amps so the XR45 is now sold.
