Re: Panasonic Sa XR 45 Bi Amping Info From John Meyer Of Newform

It was nice of John to answer my questions, and to provide this info.
As DWK pointed out, I do plan to try the party mode method, and I also plan on looking into the Behringer.
I have some big Klipsck CF 4 speakers, 2 neo 12's and a neo compression horn in a coffin sized box.
They sound great in a big room, but in a small room the horn output is a bit too foreward.
I would like to bi amp them, and simply reduce the horns level a tad.
They cross at 1500 hz, but could go down further with a steeper slope on the crossover.
Perhaps woith the Behringer I could bring the horn in a bit lower ?
Maybe take the horn down to 1000 hz instead of 1500hz.
I know, i know, I also own 801's.... But, there is just something about two long throw 12's that are 100 db efficient, if you know what i mean ???
