RE: Facinating podcast by VAC guy Kevin Hayes

I know little about and have little interest in tubes but it was a worthwhile listen. I did find it ironic that at the start he proclaimed tubes as the best amplifying devices and then spent the rest of the show tellings us about their deficiencies plus capacitor deficiencies plus transformer deficiencies:)

As an aside, in the previous episode Andrew Jones was on (again) and was asked about the wire inside his speakers. Jones gave an absolutely masterful response where he neither confirmed nor denied that wire does or doesn't make a difference with wonderful deflection while still giving a truthful and insightful answer.
