Amp/Preamp Asylum

Looking for a new Amp or Preamp? If you're after tubes, post over here.

I find that MOSFET amps have a distinct sound, to me its very pleasing. But for some reason not many manufacturers use Mosfet designs, wondering why is this the case.

My old Hafler amp was one of the best sounding amps I've owned, just didn't have the power to drive my Dynaudio speakers well enough.

Any mosfet amp enthusiasts here.
