RE: Variable corrective feedback

The old Audionics BA150 amp by David Berning had variable feedback in steps from 15 dB to 0 dB. I was demoed the speaker decades ago by David on a set of Precedent Audio Mod 3 transmission line speakers. The sound improved with every decrease in feed back all the way to 0 dB even though this meant the IM and harmonic distortion increased and the frequency response of the speakers was less flat. It was clearer and more dynamic with less feed back.
