should do "better" - transformer's small signal response into a resistive load went past 20Khz driven by beam tubes without nfb if remember correctly in Atwood's tranformer survey and I've measured zero nfb amps past that point using 6BX7 outputs and Eico or Scott iron w. ~resistive loadwhat kind of driver inverter/"mods" does it now have? front end tube(s) ok? - can't give any good suggestions other than follow a proven plan (even original 6AN8) if feedback is employed and try to get it fixed- stock MKIII were pretty good on things like cornerhorns
