I have an EICO ST-70. The speaker cable hookup to this unit is different than described below. The following may not be applicable to your unit."Channel 1" has a row of four screws labeled 4, 8, 16, and "C". "C" is "Common" or the "-" wire hookup.
"Channel 2" speaker cable hookup is different. It requires use of a "jumper cable". It has a row of four screws labeled 4, 8, 16 (one unlabeled). Directly above these 4 screws is another row of 4 screws. The speaker cable is attached to a pair of screws in the upper row and a "jumper wire" is used from one screw in the upper row to the appropriate screw (4, 8, or 16) in the lower row.
If you don't have two rows of speaker hook-up screws on your Channel 2, then your hookup is less complicated. My ST-70 worked w/o the jumper cable but when I connected it correctly (after I obtained a manual), it sounded better.
