RE: What is the best bang for your buck amplifier and its price?

$3200 sounds a bit steep for best bang for your buck, my Balanced Audio Technology VK-200 wasn't much more than that but I wouldn't consider it best bang for my buck. My Dynaco ST-70 ($238), EICO HF-81 ($277) and Kenwood KA-3500 ($37 not working) are all excellent bang for the buck but they all required rebuilding because of their age so I would have to give the edge to my class-D Onkyo A-5VL ($131) with a decent MM/MC phono section, a nice headphone amp and a very decent built-in DAC.
