Alan
My friend Bill and Engineer/Audiophile had one Bel Canto EVO bridged as a mono block fry one day from a surge, his words...hooked up his second EVO in stereo to another outlet and different circuit fry the next day...brought them to Bel Canto, he lives in MN...Matt Cramer at Bel Canto asked him if he lived in a small town?? He said yes...Matt said it is more common to see this in small towns...with old transformers and old power lines...Bill had put in dedicated lines for his rig in his house, two separate 20 amp circuits, never flipped the breaker...just fried the amps on two different consecutive days on two different circuits...
My concerns is my condo power, when the microwave runs the lights dim...Hence the P5....the Sanders pulls hard when it is running, slim when it is idling, they recommend you leave it powered up all the time...
Thanks
Mark
