I can agree with that - since I own one.
My problem is that I have moved to Hong Kong while my gear in Canada. So I'm contemplating selling my ear in Canada and starting again.
The OTO Phono SE will again be the front runner and once again seems to be warding off all comers at it's list price - let alone the $2kish used prices.
The EL84 OTO has a certain something. A magazine in Hong Kong recently hailed the new Signature edition of the amp as the king of the el84 based amps. The AN K/Spe speaker won product of the year (which is kind of funny since they've been selling them since 1990 - which illustrates how far technology has supposedly come) so I may consider the combination as I liked my K's immensely but with the new foam surrounds they should be a lot better. Then again I may try and get the older K's at a bargain.
