Class A PPs are few and far between. Audion is a good example. There are a few more, but I have forgotten. This is perhaps the best for a reasonable price. Audion shares the same designer as the old Audio Innovations and early Audio Note UK.I would add that directly heated trioded (DHT) tubes, like the 300B and 2A3 can be used in class A PP configuration, and perhaps the best example of this is Allen Wright's design at Vacuum State, although it is different type of PP than normally seen. DHT PP amps, i was told, are hard to balance and if one tube starts to drift, you need to replace both. The Vacuum State amp does NOT have this problem.
