Thanks for the input, yes mine is a D76. It has the same 4 1/4 inch sockets for the bias adjustment. I was just not sure what they did. I was hoping that they allowed you to use a 1/4 jack plug to measure the current directly - so it is good to hear that confirmed.
I will check that all the caps have been replaced, and then try to set 50mA or so on all the tubes.
Any thoughts on setting the A/C Balance if I don't have a THD analyser? I thought of putting a sine wave in and checking the amplitudes are equal after the A/C balance pot.
