Bambi. when I plugged the unit in the power was already apparently on; the indicator light lit up and the power tubes started glowing. I didn't notice any glow from the pre-amp tubes or rectifier tube, but I am not sure if they normally do.

I already tested the speaker from this unit and it is 100% functional.

Is there a way for me to use my multi-meter to test the remaining tube strength?

Where can I look up the date codes from the tubes?

I really appreciate the information you are giving me. I know I have asked alot of questions and I expect to have a ton more. If I get annoying, please let me know; I do not want to wear out my welcome so to speak.
