I've owned an MA6500 (love it--rich harmonics, smooth, open, highly detailed, nonfatiguing) for several years. I also had an MA6300 (disliked it--edgy, overly bright, headache inducing) for several weeks until I gladly returned it to my dealer.

As for the sonics of the MA6500 vs MA6900, have fun trying to determine which one is which with your eyes closed. Between these two, I suggest one make a purchase decision based on preferred user features.
