What is quite remarkable to me is that most audiophiles who don't like class D amps find their sound artificial, but usually they cannot point out what they exactly mean with artificial sounding. Some of them even regard class D amps close to junk. But what are they after: sound reproduction that they like best (with other words that is very close to their subjective ideal) or sound reproduction that is reminiscent of live sound? To me the sound of my ICEpower based amps is very reminiscent of live sound. It goes beyond the question whether you like it or not.Chris
