Need help with passive bass boost

Thanks for considering this. Situation:

I have a preamp [with no EQ, low Zout cathode follower] with a cable to pwr amp. I would like to be able to have a switch [btw pre and pwr amp] where I could selectively add a simple circuit containing a resistor in line (that would already be there) and bypassing it (using switch) with the appropriate value inductor that would boost the bass content starting at appx. 6 db/octave below 60hz when I wished (which would mean +6 at 30hz). I'm getting old (have brain injury) and used to be able to figure this out myself, so I would appreciate any help in the right direction. [[[I don't care about any phase shift involved]]]

Formulas, anything that would help, except advice to add an adjustable sub. I just need to calculate the frequency with respect to impedance values and inductance.

Thank you in advance!!
