Listening is always the test. Im just trying to learn too. It all helps. Thanks. It gives me homework though. My pre only unbalanced. Going to have to look at the input side of things. If an amp has both balanced and unbalanced inputs it has to have two separate circuits or whatever they are called? Expensive to build. That's why I see amps with only balanced inputs sometimes.
Current ability.....only 13 amps? So if you have two per channel is that 26? That is not a lot considering the high wattage of these amps. Many of the ncore amps quote pretty good 8ohm to 4ohm output....500/900.....but then drop into 2ohm. Because they can't make current I now know.......
