You make it sound like this was a simple and single honest mistake. It was the 12th simple honest mistake. And you are a damn liar if you are saying you would have been patient at that point. How about putting the shoe on the other foot? Here's a situation that is a direct analogy if you are on the other end and I agree to pay you $3000 for an amp.
1) Even though we agreed on a price of $3000 US when you recieve the cash ( a week late) it's $3000 Aussie dollars instead of US dollars and worth about $250 less than we agreed.
2) I apologize for the "mixup" and promise to IMMEDIATELY send you the difference (further inconveniencing you with having to deal with the conversion)
3) A month later the money hasn't gotten to you. And when you phone you find out I haven't even bothered to send it.
4) When the money arrives it turns it's in Zimbabwe dollars and worth nothing.
5) I act surprised and promise to send you the correct amount.
6) When the money finally arrives two weeks later it is $250 of couterfit US currency.
7) When you complain I insist that you now courier me back the entire sum ( costing you $80) with the promise to expidite the return of the proper total .
8) After complying, you wait for another month before a courier arrives and charges you $80 for the return delivery.
9) You open the package and find that you've been shipped back the same $3000 Aussie dollars you got to begin with.
10) You realize that $500 of the bills have be ripped and damaged and now can't even be exchanged for US dollars.
11) You hit the roof, and send me a nasty email.
12) When you phone me the next day I tell you the courier damaged the bills and it's your problem.
13) We never even get to fact that, instead of the agreed on $3000 USD, you have now only been paid $2500 Aussie dollars AND charged an extra $160 USD for your trouble.
14) When you decide to go public with my behavior I blame you for the whole thing because you sent me nasty email.
How would YOU, as a dealer respond to this, Anthony?
