You are misleading people.

This is a red herring.
Check UPS or USPS. The cost of shipping from Vancouver to New Jersey is $80 give or take $5. I could care less what that $80 is comprised of, it's still about the same as Seattle to New Jersey. Furthermore the $160 I had to spend on shipping both ways was NEVER the main issue and is TRIVIAL in comparison to the fact that my amp hasn't been fixed, has been seriously damaged and shows signs of further issues (the on/off button is now intermittent and sometime doesn't engage). The biggest reason I was pissed about the shipping charges was because Tact had already fucked up repeatedly and, EVEN IF the job had been finally done right, they had inconvenienced me ENORMOUSLY and most reputable companies would have done the right thing (and waved the charges). At this point doing the "right thing" isn't even an issue compared to the fact that I now have an unsellable piece of garbage and Tack is laughing because I can't do a damn thing about it in Canada.
