Lummy - I have Reference 9.02's that I enjoy very much with a tubed preamp. I hear a pop on power up but it's very minor - a non issue in my book. I've not heard a lot about the SE's yet, so I'm very interested to hear your impressions. If it sounds worthwhile, I may upgrade to SE this winter.What kind of preamp are you using?? I didn't see it listed.
