Well The Elekit Is Done...Pic Included

Well after another 8 hours the Elekit TU879A is done. One problem crept up, and it took 10 minutes to find it, and another 30 minutes to put the amp back together.

Have it in the rack and breaking in. Amp is very quiet, with very very little noise at idle. Drive my Audio Nirvana Super 12 drivers louder than I care to hear them. Using high level inputs on an Audio Kenesis Swarm sub arrangement. No problems with hum there either.

Junked the pre-driver tube off the bat, and am using a Sylvania at the moment. Need to locate some different 6L6GC since the Electro Harmonix tend to be a bit light in the bass. Getting ahead of myself, have about 16 hours of break in time on this amp. Won't comment on sound, but it is listen-able during this time period.

Only got one pic off before the batteries in the camera died. Interesting to see the waves from the tubes, or possibly its the reflection of the flash. Anyways, its a space saving kind of amp.
