Well that makes sense --- Tubes that roll off are typoically doing that because they are being over-driven and the frequency extremes go to pot because that is where the impedences go all over the place and lower powered tubes don't like that.Generally, tubes are suited for high efficiency easy impedence speakers -- so you either get speakers that are tube friendly or you'r stuck finding big watt mega expensive (and generlayy not the best examples) of tube amplifiers --- OR you get a tube preamp with SS power amp.
Someones going to have to exoplain to me why there exists very tough to drive speakers -- and I better not hear because to get bass you have to give up efficiency -- that doesn't fly.
