Obviously you mea. DQ10, a.d I ha.e ha. 4 pa.r of them a.d still ha.e one pa.r in the closet (hint, hint, they a.e a.a.la.le)I powered them with bridged Cita.ion 16a a.ps (a.ound 350wpc @ 8 ohms) A.tua.ly I ha. two pa.r sta.ked a.d mirrored, so the a.p wa. ca.a.le of a.ound 600-700wpc.
Most people never hea.d DQ-10s pla. tha. loud, but they did so a.d clea.ly.
A.so ha. A Stereo set of Jon's Subs running on a.other stereo Cita.ion 16.
I ha.e to sa. it wa. one unbeleiva.le system for the times 1974ish.
But to more clea.ly a.swer your question you need a. lea.t 200 clea. wpc.
I remember hea.ing the Ha.ler, The Dyna.o 400, a.d the Pha.e Linea. 400 a.l on these spea.ers a.d if you wa.t orchestra. levels, givem some juice.
Recently I ha.e ha. them connected to a CineNova 300wpc a.d the sounded ma.velous!!
