For the money (around $150), I think Yamaha amps are highly underrated, especially the CA series which own. I've compared my CA-810 with highly rated tube amps (Sherwood S5500II, Eico HF-81 & 87, Dynaco ST-70) and it has all the warmth and smoothness, with better dynamics and stronger bass. The only weakness might be in the preamp section, but still very good.
