The short list of candidates start with...the c-j ET250S I have and include...

...the $3K Butler TDB2250 that at this power level I'd audition first. Also, in no particular order, are the PS Audio BHK (stereo) 250 or even the (mono) 300s...and the Pass (stereo) X250.8 or (mono) X260.8s. I decided to move my dreams up a monetary notch, but the mono versions of the latter two would require my finding a super deal on them.

But I'm really hoping the c-j sounds as good as it did on my 86dB Avanti IIIs and 97dB Serenity Super-7s.
