Since I don't have a problem with (quietly) fan-cooled amps the choice is easy.
Costs $1600, 450W/8Ω, 750W/4Ω, 1150W/2Ω continuous with a crest factor of 4.8(14dB) and 0.03%THD, noise -104dB unweighted.
The first 30-40W or so will be in class A operation.
Only drawback besides forced air are the looks. There is a slightly prettier studio (S800) version for twice the money. The electronics in the signal path are the same.
I'd choose them over Bryston 4B even if they cost the same.
