OK, when you say Chinese player, do you mean my oppo 105?

would you yourself get a separate DAC, connect to oppo, or just buy a better CD player.

this is ONLY for stereo, never video of any kind. a listening room stereo. triode corporation tube amp, class A push pull, 50 watts/side. two REL subwoofers, getting ELAC AF 61 speakers soon.
PLEASE suggest great CD players for several prices from $2000 up.
