Vacuum State is currently doing a state of the art non-oversampling Music Server, but I'm just over seeing the project, I don't have to get in there and write software etc.
Personally, through my 40 years of analog engineering paradigms, I would think that if your whole system is heavily manipulated digital, then switching amps won't be such a drama.
But I'd be very curious to hear it, especially in comparison with what I consider to be a state of the art analog system.
