My pass idles at 200wpc and the manual talks about it being 25 degrees about room temp.

My room is small say 11x 14x 8 and you want me to put 2 more in there?

600watts is a bunch of heat in the room and adds up if I leave it on 24/7.

So I guess the answer is yes.

But are you saying that there isnt ONE switching amp that will sound good?

I know I have heard one and the owner used to have atmosphere tube amps and is happier with the switcher.

But if you know of some good amps that are in the budget that will run my maggies let me know.

The challenge is that I need 6 channels and most amps are 2 or 5 channels, which makes it tough to find one and 3 stereo amps is not exactly ideal though probably what I'll end up with.
