At least there will still be high end speakers in order to appreciate the quality of these digital amps. I have to agree that my rx50 does not sound at all like a tube amp. However, the tripath does and it seems that the JVC digital amps also share this quality. I haven't messed around with powercords, but I suspect Hexfreds may also help.I was almost going to build a new tube amp before I decided to try the Panasonic. But now I can put my energies elsewhere.
