Agreed - one question though - in the PS Audio post you mentioned that it's perhaps easier to convert analog to Class D switching circuits than to convert a direct digital redbook stream.How can that be, when the direct digital stream is (I assume) a purely mathematical conversion, when the analog stream requires a complete transformation of analog wave to numbers (or some variant thereof)?
I'm no tekkie, so a simple man's explanation would suffice...
