I havent yet turned the fan on, except when I accidentally switched to surround w/o surround speakers connected.
The little Panny turned on its fan to protect itself.
You need to get you one of these locally, and just take it back if you dony like it.
Circuit City carries the Sa XR 25.
I think the 45 is a bit better, but the 25 will let you see if you like it.
It has to break in a bit though
