At the end of the day, getting a dedicated line will usually only cost a few 100 dollars. Getting a similar improvement with other 'tweaks' may be difficult.
You can expect improvements in background silence, dynamics and soundstaging.
However, to get the most from your dedicated line you need to extend the power line integrity all the way to the component. Power receptacles and component cord/plug quality is vital for best results.
There is no need to spend a fortune, there are some great sounding DIY designs available. I have had excellent results with Chris VH's DIY designs , but you could do a lot worse than Bob Crump's Asylum power cord .
If your results are anything like mine, you'll be kicking yourself for not doing this sooner.
