I think that you may be inclined to enquire about DHT tubes in regards to their apparent effect on sound stage presence or moreso the general 'gestalt' such tubes seem to manifest when employed etc...

(although perhaps similar such 'effect' may possibly be produced by virtue of numerous other circuit/non DHT tube approaches).
