The 2A3 is a glorious sounding tube. I'd look for the others before Cary. Up the scale in money terms is the AN(UK) Vindicator power amp, their entry level 2A3. However, it's sold in small quantities and i doubt if you'll see any used, except possibly Asia where AN(UK) does a thriving business.

Just make sure you get an amp with a 4 Ohm tap. Even if you can drive the speakers with an 8 Ohm tap, if the speakers are rated 4 Ohm for a reason (and I am sure they are), there will be sonic differences.
