Yarland EL34- true SET?

Single Ended Triodes (SETs), the ultimate tube lovers dream.

This question is a result of my complete ignorance about SETs (as evidenced by my first posting here) but desire to try one nonetheless. A seller on Audiogon currently has one advertised at under $300. This, according to him and best I can tell from the pics, is the same as this amp, the FV-34AIII:

So, is it true SET? And, for the $$, what should one expect? Competency or flop? This is intended as a secondary, 'play' amp and will be swapped in for my Stingray only on occasion, just for kicks, and of course the risk is low, but I still like to find out about stuff before buying.
