OK, so there are the bolt holes to reckon with. Get creative. You have to know by now that the smaller box is the way to go with the 8" drivers. I'll betcha the few 'bass' notes you'd lose would be more than offset by the improvement in mid/upper bass and the attendent increase in pitch/timbral accuracy, overall clarity; plus it might even better offset/balance that stupid 2.5k peak.BTW, I agree that the B&W can't get out of its own way.
