HI Gang,
For the Fostex 206E:
Build a box with internal volume between 1 cubic foot and 1.2 cubic feet. POrt size for 3/4' baltic birch: 2.25" diameter.
YOu will get a good flat respone down to about 65 HZ.
It will roll off at about 12,000 Khz,
You will get the exagerrated midrange that some people view as better clarity.
There are many things you cna do to control the peaky midrange, augment bass etc..but i'll leave those for another day!
