I guess it depends on how stable the set-up is. The pod can be moved around easily for alignment, but has the drawback that it can be knocked out of alignment easily too. My environment is fairly stab .......

It doesn't have the extended bass, or the control and grip of the SME V, but it is capable of producing a well voiced mid-range particularly if rewired with silver wire. I was never that impressed .......

I am indeed aware of Lofgren being the accepted originator of the pivoted tonearm analysis. I was using "Baerwald Nulls" in the common usage sense of the standard 66.1 and 120.9mm nulls for an IEC LP .......

You need to evaluate the force required to move the protractor. The plastic protractor for my SME V moves very freely on top of a vinyl record, so I use the method you describe with my DL-103R and DL- .......

some have up to ten times the power output of an MM. Some MC's do just match MM's. IMO the reason MC's are better at microdynamics and macrodynamics, has more to do with 'objective'* mechanical, elect .......
