I think you could do better for what you have to pay for them on ebay. Unless you pick up a pair cheaper. KM30 would probably beat them for less on ob They have a peak that will annoy you after a whil .......

Mika: I'm not sure if this enclosure is any smaller than the one that you are using, but Goodmans did offer a rectangular (non-corner) kit enclosure for the Axiom 80. The dimensions are 30" (H) x 24" .......

Yes, the Axiom 80 has a tilt up balance without horn loading as most low Q high eff drivers. There is a definite shelf above 2k. With the horn I need +4/-2 dB eq only for flat. The horn is quite short .......

I would consider the new Fertin 8" drivers, which use a cantilever suspension with carbon-fiber rods. They are quite expensive, about $2500 each compared to about $950 each for the regular 20EX foam s .......

I had a similar system with a Fertin 8" field coil sideband driver on open baffle, with subwoofers (sort of) below 100hz and a super tweeter. It was about as good as a cone driver can be IMO. I once h .......

Not that many people use CD horns to begin with. Most "audiophile" horns these days are either round tractrix (the opposite of CD) or maybe radial, which is an old-fashioned way of getting some CD in .......
