I would not recomend doing that. The table's high compliant foot are an integral part of the design for isolation. My experience has been that adding a heavy maple base on top of cones, mine are Black .......

Grados have a noticeable breaking change in their sound, IME. As for damping adjustment, do not remove the fluid, its noticeably sticky and you may need it latter. The correct way to adjust it, is to .......

The WTT is one of the most stable and pitch acurate tables made due to the quality of the motor employed ( it looks as it coud drive 100 tables), the quality of the belt, the frictionless main bearing .......

Corian comes in different consistencies and densities. As far as I know Fountainhead is their competitors' version of basically the same material. Of course not exactly the same as that would infringe .......

As I posted below I just upgraded my Well Tempered Arm to carbon fibre arm tube with 3 ft. of cardas 33ga. wires from clips to RCA connectors. The new wires appear to be more sensitive to EMF induced .......

Mine is also from around you vintage, but I only have had it four about 4 years so I donīt have experience w/ black mat. Still my experience w/ the Dynamat has been very good ( see my other post on it .......

Its funny, I keep hearing about the little critters crawling into the arm damping fluid. I live in the tropics and this has never happened to me. Iīve has the table for four years now. Still, a friend .......

I applied Dynamat Original to the underside of the original clear platter with great results. I also applied it to the perimeter of the fluid cup ( a strip adhered to the outside),the base where the c .......

I know I always suggest it, and that I own one. Still both tables ( not withstanding what some people say to the contrary regarding WTT) are very non maintenance table as they do not have suspension. .......

The original does not have the alum foil. To my ears it did the trick. I was thinking of doing the ultra, but this was so cheap I used it and Iīm satisfied. yoyo .......
