Do I need separate supplies for each 6b4g? I have parts to make a DC supply. 12v transformer, chokes etc. Thanks for any support .......

Has anyone actually done this? I have a pair of ravaged 6c's where I finally succeeded in centering voice coils. I have seen mention of another cabinet, a Karsonator type?... suitable for Lowther? Tha .......

Hi group, I am the receptor of the amp. The story is I sold a lovely pair of 2a3 monoblocks and went solid state for a while. A chip amp based on the lm3886. Really pretty decent sound. As I raved on .......

The schematic calls for a 750vct tranny, and then a pi filter with a 10 hry choke. Certainly not fashionable and low dcr. I have these parts. I also have a formidable 900vct tranny and a boat anchor 3 .......

I found the schematic through Google. The Asylum search didn't find it. But its impossible to decipher some of the values. Drummerwill's email is caput as well. I guess DIY can be taken literally. ::: .......

So you are not sure if this wonderousness is the tungar supply or possibly just tube rectification in general? Most people, myself included start with transformer and a diode bridge for a field coil s .......

For what its worth I built a Bates enclosure a few years ago which is OK, no exciting bass. Possibly with the right driver and corner loaded it would do more. Been running field coil 12"ers with small .......
